An addiction specialist based in Spring, TX, Dr. Adam L. Trotta, MD decided to specialize in the field to work closely with people who want to change for the better and take an active role in improving their lives. For him, addiction medicine was especially inspiring, allowing him to care for patients seeking reform, learn about them, learn from them, and try to help whenever he can.
He is currently performing telemedicine outpatient addiction medicine consultations focused on opioid dependence at Lucid Lane in California and Texas. Dr. Trotta and his family have recently relocated to Texas and he is hoping to enter private practice in the near future.
finished his B.S. Biochemistry Degree in the University of San Diego and obtained a Master’s Degree in Public Health from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. He studied and completed his medical degree from the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine in Chicago, Illinois.
Following his internship and residency program with the Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas, he went on a mission trip with Doctors Without Borders in the Central African Republic and served in the Peace Corps for two years in Guinea (West Africa).
